What is Gulf to Go?
Gulf to Go (GTG) is a restaurant delivery service. We bring prepared restaurant food from the kitchen to you, anywhere in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, or Perdido Key area.
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed online by selecting a restaurant from either the Restaurants tab at the top of the Gulf to Go (GTG) page or from the list of restaurants shown in a scrolling menu on the left side of the page. You can also call us at (251)973-6424 to place your order over the phone. Each menu on the GTG site is interactive and will allow you to choose your items, side options and beverages. When finished, hit Checkout in the top right corner, choose your method of payment and create your account. After this you will need to hit Place Order at the bottom of the page. You should receive a confirmation email to the email saved on your account. Then, sit back and relax while Gulf to Go brings you your delicious meal!
How long does it take from my food to be delivered?
Delivery times vary depending on the time of day and the volume of orders at any given time. Typically your order will take 45mins to 1hr to get to you.
What are my payment options?
Gulf to Go (GTG) accepts cash and all major credit cards, including: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you are paying cash and have a bill larger than $20.00, we ask that you please leave a note or contact us by phone in order to receive proper change. Our drivers do not carry enough cash to break larger bills without notice.
NOTE: If an order is cancelled before the food is made, the customer's card will not be charged. (See Cancelled Orders FAQ)
What do I do if there is something wrong with my order?
Any issues with your order must be reported to Gulf to Go (GTG) within fifteen minutes of the order being delivered. We will confer with the restaurant you ordered from and try to remedy the situation. If the food was incorrectly prepared or missing items, GTG will try to get it replaced or refunded.
Can I cancel my order?
Gulf to Go (GTG) cannot cancel an order once it has been placed with the restaurant.
Can I order from multiple restaurants?
You cannot order from multiple restaurants on the same ticket, but you can place multiple orders from seperate restaurants to be delivered to the same location. The same order minimum and delivery fee will apply to each order individually. Seperate orders may be delivered by seperate drivers, so we recommend splitting the gratuity equally among all orders being delivered.
How much is the delivery fee?
The delivery fee is $2.99 per order.
Is the tip included in my order?
Tips are never included in your total amount unless specified by the customer. Our drivers are private contractors. They do not get paid an hourly wage. They rely on their tips to live.
Will the driver bring my food to the door?
All orders will be delivered to the door of the house, condo, hotel room, or motor home listed, unless specified otherwise by the customer.
Can I have the driver call upon arrival?
Drivers are not insrtucted to call upon arrival normally. If you would like your driver to call when he gets to your location please notify us in the delivery instructions section of your checkout menu.
Do I get a receipt with my order?
A receipt is sometimes, but not always, included with the delivery. If you do not receive one, but would like to, one can be emailed to you upon request.
